Except for the cement silo that is too high, other equipment enters the warehouse for cold protection. The cement silo is connected to the internal equipment of the warehouse through a screw conveyor, and the screw conveyor enters from the window on the top of the warehouse. In this way, the main structure of the mixing station is well protected. Operators working in the warehouse also help to prevent cold operations.
Indonesia is located in Southeast Asia, with a humid climate. There is no need for cold protection in the mixing station, but we should not be careless when facing humid air. First of all, we should use moisture-proof methods to paint the parts that are susceptible to moisture to prevent moisture, because there are mostly powders in the cement silo. These powders (such as cement, etc.) will be hardened when they are damp, blocking the cement silo discharge port and even the screw conveyor. Therefore, on the one hand, when pneumatic conveying, a dehumidification net can be installed. On the other hand, the cement silo should be as small as possible, and cement should not be stored too much. The arch breaking equipment or vibrator should be operated frequently to help discharge the material. After each operation, the screw conveyor must be idle for a period of time to drain the powder in it to avoid moisture blocking the screw conveyor.
It is the same in China. Equipment in the north should pay attention to cold and frost protection, and equipment in the south should be rain and moisture-proof.
