Three common senses of operating concrete batching plant equipment

1.Things to note before starting;

(1) Sand and stone materials that meet the requirements must be prepared in advance. Materials that exceed the standard range must not be used.

(2) When using the concrete batching plant equipment, all weighing scales must be adjusted to zero according to regulations.

(3) Check the liquid level and oil quality of the reducer. If the oil is insufficient, add more oil. If the oil quality is not good, replace it.

(4) Check and pay attention to the safety of the electrical appliances to prevent moisture and damage to electrical components and wires.

(5) Check whether the weighing equipment can be started normally. The plastic sleeve connecting the weighing bucket cannot withstand external force, otherwise it will affect the weighing accuracy. The deviation shall not exceed 1%.

(6) Check the flexibility of the brake system of the bucket lifting device and check whether there is any problem with the safety pin of the lifting bucket. If someone is working under the lifting bucket, the safety pin of the lifting bucket must be locked.

(7) When operating the mechanical equipment, check whether the movement direction of each rotating component is consistent with the marked arrow.

(8) The main engine of the concrete batching plant must be covered with a bin cover before starting. During night shifts, the mixer should have sufficient lighting.

(9) After the silo is slowly lifted, no one is allowed to stay under the silo, and it is strictly forbidden to use the hopper to lift other items.

(10) It is forbidden to operate the centrifugal water pump without water.

2. Attentions during the production process

(1) The sand and stone preparation, overshoot, feeding frequency and mixing time should be adjusted according to the water content.

(2) The feeding system should prevent aggregates from entering the operating mechanism. Generally, sand and cement cannot be fed in the same pipe trough.

(3) Before feeding, drain water to reduce dust.

(4) Feeding can be done once or several times. Once feeding is to put the raw materials into the mixer according to a certain process sequence, but cement cannot be added first to prevent cement from sticking to the shaft. In order to prevent cement from being encapsulated by water to form cement balls during one-time feeding, cement and sand and stone should be stirred first to disperse the cement before sprinkling water.

Mixing concrete by feeding several times, also known as shell concrete, is a complex operation that requires professional handling in mixing stations and mixing buildings.

(5) Monitor the instrument panels at any time and place, and correct and handle any abnormalities in a timely manner.

(6) Consider whether to add sand, cement and reduce stone in the first tank because cement mortar adheres to the mixer body.

(7) Inspection, maintenance, lubrication, tightening and other work are not allowed during operation. When the silo is stuck by an obstacle, it is not necessary to force it to be pulled up. Immediately use manual unloading to unload 50% of the material, find the cause and restart it.

(8) After the feeding is completed and the hopper is closed, the hopper can be lifted and fed again.

(9) In the event of a sudden power outage or common fault, be careful to clean out the material in the mixer.

3. Common shutdown problems

(1) Before shutting down, the concrete must be unloaded. After the work is completed and before shutting down, use a little gravel and water to clean the mixing drum.

(2) In cold seasons, it is necessary to drain the remaining water in the water supply equipment and remove the dust and concrete inside and outside the mixer.

(3) Turn off the power and lock the electrical box. Check each lubrication point and add a little oil.
